IN LANCASTER, PENNSYLVANIA, there is a most exceptional magazine called Fine Living Lancaster, which publishes material on various cultural happenings of Lancaster and its residents. As it happens, some of its staff started reading this blog a few months ago, and asked me to write a feature about my semester in Istanbul. The story is a general overview of my time here, including color photographs. The magazine (Issue 14) will be out this week in Lancaster. If you want to see it, you can pick up a copy in Border’s Books across from Park City Mall, or read it electronically by clicking here (Issue 14 has not yet been uploaded to the web site, but will most likely be up this Friday or shortly thereafter). You can also subscribe to Fine Living Lancaster.
The article will contain a link to this blog, so hopefully I will be increasing my readership many times over.
Special thanks to Katerina Kuss and Andy Musser for conceiving the idea and designing the layout.
